I do it to enhance my family’s standard of living without having to actually do ‘real’ work for it. Optimizing my family’s finances has allowed my spouse and I to maintain a high quality of life, raising two young children, while both only working part time jobs. We live well, we spend money on things we enjoy, but we are ruthless about cutting costs on expenses that add nothing to our lives. This site is designed to show you how to do the same thing!”

PlusEV is the Editor-in-Chief of Colourful Money. He is a versatile writer specializing in copywriting and technical writing and is the resident “street smart” Entrepreneur. PlusEV is responsible for the layout, marketing and everything else behind the scenes. He can also be seen posting the Editor’s Notes as well as sporadic articles from time to time.

I have a BA in English at the University of Waterloo and I have worked for many established and start up companies before ultimately branching off into my own. Some of my greatest financial goals met were paying off my tuition in less than a year after graduation and paying off my car in 3 months.
